Sometimes you may hear people ask, "FatHoundDog.com? What's the point?" Try not to laugh at them. It's a hound thing.

FHD is comprised of two essential components: a Hound Dog and his Girl. Rocky, the Hound in question, is a 9-year-old Beagle who spends his days waddling about central New Jersey, napping and digging in the garbage. His Girl, Cate, separated from him by some 400 miles, is a graduate student in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Cate takes the pictures and writes the HoundKus and does a lot of strange things with the site's design, but Rocky is the muse - and everyone knows that's the hardest part.
